Concerts

One of my favorite thing to shoot are musicians. I really enjoy the natural enthusiasm they bring to stage and it's such a high when the crowd are in sync with the entertainment.

I recently photographed Michael W. Smith in Salem, IL, Nov.8 '09. My daughter and I had great seats!! I love how he shows emotion in his body movements. Every song he sang, was truly from his heart. I had to capture the moments where he would tilt his head over his keyboard, close his eyes and let his fingers do the talking. We had an amazing experience meeting him after the show backstage. The Lord is always opening up doors like that for me. I've got to meet a few favorite celebs this year but I have to admit that Michael is the most amazing in my opinion because he is a Godly man and shares his Godly talents with the world. What better way to make a living, than to work for the Kingdom? There is no better profession!!

There will be a variety of photos available for purchase. I would like to focus on musicians, land and waterscapes and a few abstract art images for the time being. .Angels in the Clouds.

I have been obsessed lately with taking photos of clouds. It seems like every time I look up at the sky ...God painted a cloud canvas of angels and the Lords face in the clouds for me to capture. I will be posting these photos in the next few days.

Next time you are outside, don't forget to look up and be reminded of the Lord's beauty. Some people take for granted the miracles that surround us. How can anyone look up and NOT believe there is a God? It's so obvious He is around us, everywhere.

I'm so excited to get this blog started!!!! I'd like to thank my husband Paul, who has had patience with me over the last few years in getting our photography business off the ground. I've had to travel a lot and be away from home to build my portfolio. Paul has been a huge help with encouragement and photography related resources! He even created our business logo 2 years ago.
